Everyone knows that we owe a lot to the ancient Romans. It is difficult to imagine a European culture without the Latin language, and it would not have been possible to create many works of art without the inspiration of what was first created in Rome and its provinces. It was the Romans who provided us with our tax and legal system, and constructed the roads we use to this day, even though they were built two thousand years ago. Few people, however, know that Mazovia was at some point a very important region for the Empire. Although it was not directly located within its territory, iron ore that originated here was commonly used for the production of weapons and everyday items. Together with the members of the archeology club and our reconstruction team, we visited https://www.facebook.com/pruszkow.mshm/?fref=ts where the children could meet different craftsmen and visit the exhibition „Przedświt „[Daybreak]. We also did a class on legionary equipment, thanks to the Legio I Adiutrix Foundation.
